As I was reaching into the tree for an apple to feed my horse, an apple hit me in the head. Life lesson of the day: Sometimes what you're straining to get is exactly what will end up smacking in the face.
One of my facebook friends just comment with this on someone's status. Needless to say they just made my day.
"What’s that Lassie? You say that a Twilight fan wants to discuss actual literature? Did you tell them that Hemingway’s tight, concise and punchy prose about the power of the human spirit is vastly superior to their tastes in faux dark romances? Hmm… Maybe if Hemingway’s protagonists lacked any proper characterization they might be able to appreciate an American classic. Too bad Hemingway’s firm grasp of the English language renders him an incredibly talented author."
It is official; I have a tumblr crush. There is a person on tumblr who I have a crush on. I did not realize this until the other day when my friend said, “Who is this *insert tumblr name here*? You take about him like you used to talk about *insert crush from 2 years ago.* Do you have a crush on him?” Yes, I believe I do. I have never talked with this person or met them in person, nor do I even ask things on tumblr that often. I also don’t like or reblog every one of their posts. But I stalk their tumblr and I truly enjoy their posts. This is probably bad, but I really don’t care.
it's so sad that teenagers are committing suicide because of bullying, because some other kids aren't happy and want to pick on another person, because the bully is upset at home, and needs to take their anger out on someone else. Some people hurt more then others, and people go and self harm and kill them selves because of bullying. Reblog if you're against bullying.
"Esther Earl was a loving Nerdfighter and HPA member who died from thyroid cancer on August 25, 2010. Today would have been her seventeenth birthday. Often confined to her bed, Esther yearned for a chance to make a difference - and she did. Last year, John Green declared her birthday, Esther Day. He asked her what she wanted for Esther Day and Esther simply replied that she wanted people to take time to tell their friends and family that they love them."
