In the first Harry Potter book, Hermione, Harry, Neville, and Draco are all given detention for wandering around at night. So, logically, their detention is then served at midnight in the forest. That follows logic, right?

So, in the first Harry Potter book it says that Dumbledore had to fly to London and that was why he didn’t arrive until later when the stone was being stolen. That begs the question: Why did he fly? Why didn’t he apparate or use floo powder?
